Jennifer Lawrence records song

Those who have read The Hunger Games should be familiar with Rue’s lullaby. Some of you might be wondering if Jennifer Lawrence, the actress who will portray Katniss, has the vocal ability to sing Rue’s lullaby.

Multiple Grammy winner T. Bone Burnett, the music supervisor of the film, has been recently spotted in Asheville’s Echo Mountain Recording.

I wanna hear it!!!! lol

Hunger Games to be at ComicCon

Comic Con 2011 will be held on July 21-24 in San Diego California. Hunger Games fans will have something to look forward to! The Hunger Games franchise is expected to be present at the said event.

What to Expect at Comic-Con: Entertainment Weekly premiered the first photo of Lawrence as the lead character Katniss — and production on the movie hasn’t even begun. But cameras are set to start rolling shortly, meaning Ross may have a little footage to show off to the rabid fanbase at this year’s SDCC. The question has always been about Lawrence pulling off a character near and dear to many fans hearts, so producers may aim to quell that fear at the convention. Besides, we’ll need something to combat the Twilight hoarde.

Lawrence not on Twitter!

Jennifer Lawrence's publicist officially announced, after some speculation, that Jennifer is not on Twitter and there are posers out there trying to interact with fans.  The publicist warned those following fake accounts and promises to take down all fakes.

It's Official!

Lionsgate officially released a statement that The Hunger Games will not actually be released as three movies but as four. This is very interesting, as it's following up on the Twilight and Harry Potter trend of turning the last book into two parts.  I don't know if it's really necessary because the books are not as long as Harry Potter, for example.  Oh well, as long as it is made well I can't complain.

Yessss, finally President Snow has been official casted. Donald Sutherland has been chosen, and I think that he is perfect for the role!

....and he already has the white hair and blue eyes needed for the role! They did something right! lol

Hunger Games Official Filming Locationsssss

The following production updates for the movie are as follows:

• The exciting and explosive lake scenes in the arena will be filmed in Asheville
• But its in a location no one will have access to which is probably a good idea
• This includes the blowing up the bag of apples scene
• It appears most of the arena scenes will be shot in Asheville as will most of the explosions and fire
• The N. Fork Reservoir in Black Mountain is the site. avl taking measures to make sure protected while filming
• work in underway there but shooting starts 6/20
• Part of arena to be shot in Dupont state forest. Forget abt trying to find where though.

Hunger Games Movie

I'm so excited for the upcoming movie "The Hunger Games" as I loved the trilogy so much. However, looking at the casting, I'm a little worried because I never pictured half of this cast.  Just the other day they casted Lenny Kravitz as a man who is actually white with green eyes! lol Oh well, I just hope they didn't make a mistake by choosing him. We'll see...
